The mural painting Ejercicio Plástico (“Plastic Exercise”), a masterpiece of Latin American art, was made in 1933 by mexican muralist David Alfaro Siqueiros and argentine painters Lino Enea Spilimbergo, Antonio Berni and Juan Carlos Castagnino, along with uruguayan stage designer Enrique Lázaro.

The recovery of Ejercicio Plástico, the monumental painting carried on by the Polygraphic Team in 1933, from the basement of a residence in Don Torcuato, has been the result of several efforts and coordination between Argentina and Mexico to preserve the testimony of their artistic and cultural heritage.
